Patient Participation Group - Next Meeting:  TBC in September 2024

For a number of years now, we have been running a Patient Forum Group, which meets in February and September to discuss matters of interest to our patients and to agree actions/changes to improve our services to patients. This is a very successful group and we are grateful to all those who give up their time to assist us in this area.

However, we have become increasingly conscious that not all patients are able to come to meetings about our services, but would like to know more about our plans for the future and be able to actively give us their opinions about what we are doing. Therefore, in 2011 we formed a 'Virtual' Patient Group, in addition to our Patient Forum. For this group, we just take email addresses of interested patients and periodically either sent out update information or consult on proposed changes. We now have over a 100 patients in this Virtual Group.

If you are interested in becoming a member of either our Patient Forum or Email Patient Group, please just send us an email expressing your interest to bnssg.stockwood.medicalcentre@nhs.net

To get a truly representative sample we need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.
